We have 5 Xerox multifunction printers here where I work. For the past month, I have had a technician here every week, sometimes 3 times a week trying to solve an issue on one of our Workcentre 5638's. It is set up to scan to network to specific folders- up until a month ago, all scanning was working fine. All of a sudden, the machine completely stopped wanting to scan anything and jobs just sat there in the job que saying formatting. I checked to make sure the network connection was good, and I could get to the folder we were pointing to, also double checked the network cable, all good. Xerox had me do a software/hardware reset and unplug the network cable for awhile- still, nothing. Tech came out, and they have now just about replaced every part on the machine-including us putting in a dedicated power plug on the wall. We can get...
