We have a Xerox 7760GX that is really an AWESOME printer. However, it seems to shutdown the network access while it is running print jobs.
A week ago we started to notice this.
Some lab techs like to pull up the web UI in a browser to keep an eye on the levels while it is printing. Then the page became inaccessible.
When this first occurred, I sent over several PING requests and it responded 100%.
Today, the issue is back and I am unable to ping it at all.
So, I ask you; the Xerox Group, if you think this is due to faulty hardware (NIC) or maybe another unrelated issue.
What I already tried:
I changed the NIC settings from Auto to 1GB Full Duplex (and yes all other hardware and cables support this speed).
I am now going to try 100MB Full Duplex and see if we get different results.
